Summer Salon
AWA’s Summer Salon is a forum for bringing the research of global Africans to the community, about issues relevant to Africa and its Diaspora, in an informal, relaxed setting. It gives young scholars an opportunity to discuss their work before a supportive audience; and informs the audience about relevant research that is not generally known. The AWA Summer Salon provides good information, good conversation with global African food and entertainment.
